As South Africa celebrates Youth Day, FairPlay welcomes the increasing involvement of young people in agriculture.
This is typified by the appointment of a 24-year-old livestock farmer as chairperson of the youth wing of the African Farmers’ Association of South Africa (AFASA).
In an interview with Food for Mzansi, Keatlegile Mnguni, explained how she will promote the development of other young farmers, connecting them to markets and to leaders in the agricultural sector.
