The SA National Consumer Union’s (SANCU) unreserved support for chicken importers, and its disregard for South African jobs, is highly concerning and should ring alarm bells for SANCU’s members and South African consumers.
We believe that SANCU is betraying its core mandate of protecting South African consumers by siding with trade predators who are destroying local industry, shipping jobs overseas, and putting SA’s food security at risk.
